  1. Prepare 2 of Tomatoes.
  2. Provide 1 tbsp of Rasam Powder.
  3. Get 1 tbsp of Tamarind pulp.
  4. Get to taste of Salt.
  5. Take 1 tbsp of coconut oil.
  6. Use 1/4 tbsp of mustard seeds.
  7. Take 1 tsp of Curry leaves.
  8. Take 1 of dried red chilli.
  9. Provide 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
  10. Provide 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  11. You need 5-6 of garlic (crushed).
  12. Use 1 pinch of asafoetida (hing).
  13. Provide 1 of green chilli slited.

Instructions to make Tomato Rasam:

  1. Take a pan. Add oil. Once oil is hot add mustard, garlic, dry red chilli, curry leaves, asfoitida and chopped tomatoes..
  2. Now add turmeric, green chilli and salt. Let it be mushy. Add red chilli powder and Rasam Powder. Add water. After one boil add Tamarind pulp. Let it boil for some time..
