Steps to make Tomato pickle:

  1. Take 2 Tbsp oil in a pan. Add 6large chopped tomatoes. Saute for 1 minute and now cover with lid and simmer it for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes add tamarind extract and mix it well.Again simmer it for 10 minutes.Saute in medium flame until the oil release..
  2. Take a fenugreek and mustard seeds in a pan and dry roast on low flame and make a fine paste.Now add this masala in the tomatoes paste. Add salt as per your taste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, mix well and saute for 1 minute. Now add jaggery which is optional..
  3. For Tadka - Take oil in a pan, put mustard seeds, asafoteda, garlic cloves, saute and splutter till golden brown. Now add dry red chilli, curry leaves and splutter. Now put  this  Tadka on the top of the tomato paste and mix it well..
